More “algorithm improvements” from Google. (You can ignore this if you don’t have a website.)
Google rolled out a change yesterday “to help you find more high-quality websites in search results . . . .”
They’re downgrading sites that have what they consider too many ads and/or not enough good content above the fold. I know most of you know this, but “above the fold” means the part of the page that a viewer sees without having to scroll down.
Google says that very few sites will be affected, and that they’re only going to punish sites that really take it too far.
Nevertheless, it would be smart to review your site to be sure that there’s plenty of good content above the fold.
And remember, Google ranks pages, not sites, so you need to pay attention to all pages on your site.
Also, remember we’re always available for questions, and of course for hire to help you find, nurture, and close more of your ideal prospects. And remember, our work comes with a money-back guarantee.
